Definitely! We offer a nationally accredited academic curriculum that allows our residents to progress in their academics as well as their treatment. Depending on the level of cooperation of the school where your child is enrolled, they may also be able to do their coursework remotely at Stonewater. Our Academic Advisor will meet with you to help determine your academic objectives and ensure they remain in balance with your child’s therapeutic load while at Stonewater.

No. At Stonewater we believe that adolescents should be treated in an environment with others who are in a similar stage of mental, physical and emotional development. Treating adolescents is different than treating adults, and we specialize in treatment specific to kids ages 12-17.
